About Vulpes Athletics
Introduction
Vulpes Athletics is built on a simple idea:
long-term athletic performance requires structure, patience, and disciplined execution.

The goal is not short-term optimization, constant novelty, or motivation-based training, but sustainable progress developed over time through intelligent planning and consistent work.
Coaching Philosophy
Vulpes Athletics follows a system-driven approach to strength and conditioning.

The coaching philosophy prioritizes:
-
Intelligent planning over intensity
-
Consistency over variety
-
Long-term development over short-term outcomes

Training decisions are guided by structure, progression, and athlete response, rather than trends, hype, or arbitrary changes.

This approach is designed for athletes who want to understand their training, execute with intent, and develop qualities that last.
A Structured Approach to Performance
Rather than treating training as a collection of workouts, Vulpes Athletics treats it as a long-term process.

Training is organized into structured phases, adapted to the athlete’s sport, schedule, and constraints, and adjusted over time based on execution and outcomes.

The focus is on building performance qualities that support durability and progression:
- Speed
-
Strength
-
Work capacity
-
Resilience

This structure allows athletes to train consistently without unnecessary fatigue or stagnation.

The Coach Behind the System
Vulpes Athletics was created and is coached by Bram Houttuin, a strength and conditioning coach focused on long-term athletic development.

My approach to coaching has been shaped by working with athletes who have different sports, schedules, and constraints, but a common goal: improving performance.

Over time, this led to a clear conclusion - effective training is rarely about doing more.
It is about applying the right structure, progressing deliberately, and adjusting intelligently based on response.

Vulpes Athletics exists to apply that system consistently and without compromise.
